COMEX Copper impressively today as metals jumped amid tepid US dollar. Equities were mixed. In Asai, Shanghai Composite index closed flat. Hong Kong's Hang Seng index added 0.31%. Japanese markets were closed for a holiday. European stocks mostly eased as earnings stayed in focus. The US stocks were choppy after recent surge. Dow hit a new record intraday high though. The US dollar index is at 96.50, holding around one and half week low and is pushing metals higher. COMEX Copper futures broke above $6 per pound and currently quote at $6.08 per pound, up 2.76% on the day. The metal has zoomed near one-week high with this spike. MCX Copper futures are up 3% at Rs 1270 per kg as a break above Rs 1250 per kg mark triggered excellent upmove in afternoon trades.
