COMEX Copper futures saw steady moves today. The metal currently trades up 0.90% at $6.22 per pound amid mixed equities overall. In Asia, China's Shanghai Composite index eased marginally while Hong Kong's Hang Seng index gained 1.1%. Japan's Nikkei average ended flat. European stocks are witnessing thin moves though overall sentiments are steady. Dow hits fresh record as weak jobs data lifted interest rate-cut hopes while AI chip stocks drag Nasdaq lower. Copper gained more than one percent in last week. MCX Copper futures are trading at Rs 1286.65 per kg, up 0.14% on the day after almost hitting Rs 1390 per kg in intraday moves.
