MCX precious metals stayed well supported today with Silver leading the charge. MCX Silver futures are up 1.3% at Rs 273641 per kg amid firm cues from global Silver market. The counter traded in red in early moves but moved up after testing lows around Rs 267000 per kg and saw steady gains once Rs 270000 per kg levels were breached in afternoon. MCX Gold is also up 0.30% at Rs 159553 per 10 grams. Both counters were supported due to INR's tumble to a record low near 97 per US dollar.
