MCX Copper futures are are trading on a weak note, down 0.42% at Rs 1396 per kg right now. The counter was down 0.29% in the day session till 6.00 PM. MCX Copper futures touched an intraday low of Rs 1408 per kg today and have recorded a steep drop of 3.48% in the open interest. US equities are weak with S&P 500 is trading slightly lower by 0.22% on the day.MCX Copper is declining for fifth consecutive session.

In other metals, Zinc is lower by 1.50% at Rs 410 per kg, Aluminium is firmly lower by 1.29% at Rs 336 per kg, Nickel is marginally lower by 0.75% at Rs 1553 per kg while Lead is modestly lower by 0.54% at Rs 193 per kg.

Copper is down around 0.99% in the last one week followed by MCX Zinc, losing around 0.11%.
